Highlights
• Sedgman awarded the design, procurement and construction contract for the Jervois
Copper Project processing plant.
• Award represents an important milestone towards Final Investment Decision and project
execution which are planned for the coming weeks.
• The scope of the contract has been increased to allow for more cost-effective early

assumptions made in the Baseline Economic Model in relation to the capital cost and
schedule.
• Sedgman has been involved with Jervois since 2017 through historical testwork review,
metallurgical testwork, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, value engineering, front-end
engineering design and procurement activities.
• Scope includes detailed design, procurement and construction of the processing plant,
together with commissioning and testing, associated infrastructure and services.
• Procurement of critical long-lead process equipment and detailed engineering is already
well underway.
• The Jervois processing plant is designed for 2.0Mtpa throughput, using conventional
crushing, grinding, flotation and thickening to produce a single copper concentrate.
Brisbane, Australia - 1 October 2026: Australian copper developer KGL Resources Limited
(ASX: KGL, KGL or the Company) has awarded Sedgman, a member of the CIMIC Group, the
design, procurement and construction contract for the processing plant at KGL’s 100%-owned
Jervois Copper Project in the Northern Territory.
The award is an important step in progressing Jervois towards Final Investment Decision and
project execution and continues Sedgman’s long-standing involvement in the Project.
KGL Chief Executive Officer Sam Strohmayr said:
“Advancing the Jervois Copper Project into design, engineering and construction is a critical step in
progressing the project towards operations. Sedgman’s deep technical knowledge of the asset and

processing requirements, substantial experience in project delivery, and continuity from earlier
study phases position the Sedgman team well to partner with the KGL owners’ team in the
development of the Jervois Copper Project.
“Both teams have worked collaboratively throughout the development and negotiation of the
contract. KGL looks forward to continuing this partnership approach through the construction and
commissioning phases of the Project.”
Since its initial engagement in 2017, Sedgman has worked closely with KGL through historical
testwork review, metallurgical testwork, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, value engineering,
front-end engineering design and procurement activities. This continuity brings established
technical understanding, design maturity and implementation planning into the execution phase.
Under the newly awarded contract, Sedgman will provide detailed design, procurement and
construction of the processing plant, together with commissioning and testing of the facility and
associated infrastructure and services, supporting KGL's progression towards production.
Procurement of critical long-lead process equipment and detailed engineering is already underway.
The plant is designed for throughput of two million tonnes per annum and will use conventional
crushing, grinding, flotation and thickening to produce a single copper concentrate.
Sedgman Managing Director Grant Fraser said:
“We’re pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with KGL Resources as the Jervois
Copper Project moves into delivery. Having supported the project from its early study stages, our
team brings deep knowledge of the processing requirements and a clear understanding of the
design intent. This contract award reflects Sedgman’s ability to integrate design, procurement,
construction, commissioning and testing to support the project through execution.”
